    This year Dancers’ Group is teaming up with Rhythm & Motion to present the 4th annual One Dance—the Bay Area Dance Week kick-off event, celebrating the diversity and breadth of the Bay Area dance community.This fun event will take place in San Francisco’s Union Square ParkFriday, April 26, 201312noon to 1pm One Dance starts with groups (a group can be as small as a solo, to a duet, trio, quartet and more) performing their own choreography. Each participating group will have the opportunity to create a short dance to our original music mix. Groups can be any size and are encouraged to wear special attire or costumes.After the groups dance, anyone and everyone can join in to perform a unified piece of choreography. Learn the dance online before the 26th and be part of the flash mob!To participate in One Dance:Confirm your interest with Shae Colett by Fri, Apr 12.Learn the unison portion of choreography—View the instructionalvideo. This video offers step-by-step instructions.  If you are a group and plan to bring your own choreography, contact Shae Colett to be assigned to a specific section of music.Attend one of the free rehearsals- rehearsal dates & times TBAAll participants will be emailed the full music mix as an electronic file along with a music breakdown. This is an amazing opportunity to bring attention to Bay Area dance and promote your company or group to downtown visitors, shoppers and workers enjoying One Dance amidst the bustle of San Francisco’s Union Square.
