Now that I am teaching regularly, am I correct in assuming that I should purchase some sort of liability insurance for teaching dance other then just having students sign my own personal liability waiver form?  I am in the US  and am clueless as to what I should do.  Are there any company web-sites that others can share with me?  What is the average cost?  Thanks!Janine

I have a $2,000,000 policy through Sports and Fitness Insurance Corporation that costs $185 per year. There was a slightly cheaper option that provided $1,000,000, but $2mil seems standard. They only provide coverage  in the U.S: http://www.sportsfitness.com/index.htmlThe studio I rent time in covers me while I'm teaching there, but when I started traveling to teach workshops and classes I decided I needed to be covered.  All students are required to sign a waiver, but I've been told those are not ironclad.
