Does anyone know of any performance videos that show the rush hour – both the Arabic 1-2-3 and Chico variations? I wasn't able to find it on the FCBD class format page with the rest of movement examples. Thanks!

Here's an interesting Trio variation from Cues & Tattoos 2011, but it shows the Rush Hour combos nicely: http://youtu.be/4zfB-8qHEX4

Very good video, thanks Berenike ! I have another question : do you think it is possible to use the concept of Rush Hour with other steps that Arabic 123 and Chico 4 Corner ? Turkish Shimmy or Shoulder Shimmy for example ?  ???

Hi Marie!  There's no reason you couldn't experiment with the RH with other steps.  Just be aware (as always) that just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.  🙂  Make sure it really, really works before you use it in performance. Here's Tessera with special guest Wendy Allen at this years Cues and Tattoos:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHr8FTtd66cWe use the Rush Hour concept with Arabic Hip Twist Flourish starting around 7:41.

Thanks for your thoughtful awswer Janet !  🙂I know this (awesome) video, I just didn't make the connexion when I wrote my question... Arabic Hip Twist Flourish with the RH concept is just brillant ! The first time I watched the video, I was like : Oh my god, what did I just saw ?! I need to watch it again. And again. Then again... Lol !Would you say that Taksu Tribal use the RH concept (with Camel Walk passing) in this video, even if it is a slow song ?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5uJS6lUMPQ (the "slow Rush Hour" takes place between 5'10 and 5'40)But maybe I'm looking too hard.  😉

Yes, Taksu Tribal is performing an example of the Slow Rush hour. This is a cconcept that is possible and is something that is being polished at at the FCBD studio  ;D
