Spins with fade …….. Is it just normal count 8 with 4 spins at front, count 8 Egyptian Basics fading back, count 8 with 4 more spins at the back, count 8 Egyptian Basic fading back again etc.  is it always the same or are there variations.DVD Vol 7 Spins shows a bit of this, but when Megha becomes the faded lead she lowers her arms first then raises them before going into spins again, and the DVD doesn't show what happens after that. Are there any good clips on Youtube on this? Thanks 🙂

Calibrated Spins is complete when a cue in Egyptian is executed within an 8ct phrase, then 8cts of spins.  The fade option can be broken up, so a re-fade is not mandatory.  You can cue for spins, spin for 8, fade for 8 w/Egyptian and spin again for 8, and it can be complete there.  What can also happen is the new lead that fades forward can cue the spins (like Megha did), just to be on the safe side, but it isn't necessary because we all know that if you do 8cts of Egyptian after a set of spins, then another set is coming.  If you don't want to spin again, you'd change the movement before the 8cts of Egyptian are finished.3:19 is a straightforward spin fade sequence - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeQ3kOtmlTcCan't find others at the moment.  Maybe other people have more examples handy.  🙂
