Be Kind & Patient Maki
For fans of Carolena’s 4pmChat and Storytime … the Be Kind & Patient Maki! The 2″ x 2″ Be Kind & Patient Patch adorns this Maki. Handmade by Carolena.
Haramaki comes from the Japanese words hara, meaning the center of the body, and maki, meaning ‘to wrap up’.
Dancers love the Maki as a belly warmer during rehearsals and classes. Wear it over the bust and pulled down to the hips, or scrunched around the midsection. The Maki is also a great way to smooth the bulk of jeans when wearing a form-fitting tee shirt and pantaloon waistbands when wearing a Choli Dress.
