Hello FCBD® Students,
Happy New Year! The beginning of a new year is an opportunity to reassess and reprioritize.
After much thought and careful consideration, we’ve decided to suspend our weekly classes. We feel that it is time to regroup and refocus so that we can get back to doing what we love: Dancing.
While it has always been important to us to continue offering classes, the constant hustle of keeping up in one of the busiest and most expensive cities in the country has been a challenge, to say the least.
We know that this is disappointing news, but once our batteries are recharged, we plan to bring classes back that will be better than ever. Rest assured that these will not be idle times for us. We’re looking forward to having more time and energy to devote to the exciting events already on our calendar for 2019: ATS® Reunion, Cairo ShimmyQuake, and, of course, assisting Carolena with General Skills and Teacher Training in November (registration opens soon!). We will continue to study intensively with Carolena and rehearse regularly to keep our chops up. We will still be performing in and around the Bay Area, as well as teaching and hosting occasional workshops throughout the year. We also have exciting plans to create new online content—so stay tuned!
Classes will continue until January 19, 2019. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org about receiving a refund for the balance of your class card. We hope that you will join us for Dance Jam on the last day of classes to say “until next time,” because this isn’t farewell.
In the meantime, there are resources available for you to continue your studies, including online classes, instructional DVDs, and private lessons.
Thank you for your understanding and your continued support.
All the best,
